Who would have thought that a video game system would actually promote health and make it's gamer master stay healthy while having fun at the same time! The Wii Fit (also known as the Wii Health Pack) will soon be hitting the United States and since the USA is one of the fattest countries in the world; this couldn't have come at a better time! :) Nintendo's Wii Fit was presented at E3 in 2007 by Shigeru Miyamoto. Shigeru demonstrated the Wii Fit himself!

The Wii Fit comes with the game and a Wii Balance Board that will calculate the players body mass index by just stepping on it. The game will track the user's Fitness Age (like BrainAge calculates the player's mental age (Brain age). Some of the game play will be push ups, yoga poses and many others. The Wii Fit has also moved into the Doctor's office where doctors can use it for rehabilitation and keep track of the player (patient) via the Internet.

The Wii Fit is due to be release on May 21, 2008. Amazon is taking pre-orders. You might want to preorder one now while they're available. We predict that it's going to be just as hard to find a Wii Fit as it is to find an actually Wii console itself.
