I think I'm about to faint! New Super Mario Bros is finally coming out for the Wii and Nintendo really did a great job on it! The Wii version allows 4 cooperative players! Some of the new features is you can pickup and carry the other players to help save them or toss them @ enemies! Another new cool item is the Perpella Suit - with a shake of the Wii controller, the Perpella Suit will allow you to shoot up into the sky and then slowly float down! The video doesn't mention anything about online battle/co-op mode, but I'm sure Nintendo wouldn't forget something that important!? NSMB is due out December 30, 2009 (hopefully it'll be sooner!).

UPDATE: It turns out that New Super Mario Bros will also have a "demo play" mode where if the part you're playing is too hard, you can pause the game and turn on "demo play" - this will let the Wii play the game for you until it passes the the part thats too hard.. then you can take the helm at anytime. So it's a built in cheat mode. Kind of cool, eh?
