I had the same issue...but i found out that the new firmwares work greats with 2gig and maybe 4gig SD card but if u have a 8gig card u might want to message me on my hotmail because the one who made me my R4ultra already put the right files in my card to make it work...id say it play about 80% of nds games...and by the way i did made a backup of the files that were in my card and tried all the firmware possible and it was stoping at the loading screen (firmware like the new 1.18 from R4 and Wood those wouldnt work on my R4 ultra so if u want a working firemware for ur R4 ill give you all the files required.
