hi there, we have a ds lite with a dstt and 2gb sd card. it has been working perfectly but my son recently put some new games on and it came up with the red menu on the top screen. I reformated the sd card and put on some more games but still the red menu. I bought a new sd card and put new games on but I am still getting the red menu. previously when I added the files to the sd card it was putting on two files for each game, an nds and a .sav (i think!!)

anyone got any ideas?

This is a great tutorial to help you backup your original Nintendo DS cartridge to your PC (or Mac). I've reposted the tutorial here just incase the original one goes bye-bye. Apps needed to backup your original Nintendo DS cartridge using a R4: "NDS Backup Tool Wifi" and "SmallFTPd".

Nintendo released their version 1.4 firmware for the DSi recently that adds a couple of features: Facebook image upload and it speeds up the built-in camera. Along with those features they also included a feature that disables DSi compatible flash cards like the R4i, DSTTi and Acekard 2i.

There's been rumors of a new Nintendo DS handheld coming out in 2010 and it's going to be smaller than the DS/DSi. People are calling it the Nintendo DS Micro. Here's a video revealing the new Micro DS! Wonder if theres going to be a R4 for the DS Micro.

I'm a knuckle head techie but could anyone advise why with a DSTT and microdisc 4gb card I only get "Menu" when putting into DS (I have downloaded drivers etc TT menu blah blah)?? I had a Sandisk 4gb card for my son and that worked beautifully.....confuded and needing step by step help if poss.

Okay...I am getting desperate about the Ducati Moto (DS),but I want to see it and play it for a bit before I buy it. The lowest price I found online is £16.99. The price is ok. The problem is I would like not to buy it online since I am an oversea student from Romania, and I would like to get my VAT back when I leave UK :)If I buy from an online shop I can't get it back.
