Hello,

I just purchased the R4(GE) SDHC flash card, and I am unable to get it working. I have tried downloading all the required files (the English kernel file) and following all the directions on the site, but once I start it up on my DS lite, all I get is a white screen with a red card icon and the word "MENU?" in it. While some help sites state that the R4 dat and R4I menu files are needed I cannot find them anywhere. All links online for those two files point to kernel downloads, none of which have those two files.

hi can anybody help me please i got my little boy a dsi for xmas got an R4I GOLD card got my friend to set it up for me as am not very computer friendly lol workd fine for the test then wraped it up for my sons prezzie then when he playd on it for 5mins he put in original dsi game then when he put the r4i card back in keeps saying ERROR grr anybody help please masive thanx in hope

A few (7-9)of my resent new games that I downloaded (even from different web sites) couldnt open them. When trying to boot them up they will free with screen empty and clear, other will go black and said no info found, turn off and re-insert card, other will open into the main menu,but no more further than that. Ihave this same R4 revolution for ds since more than a year ago, I wonder if someone had this same problems and if there's a fix or resent program that I need to download. I will thanks all suggestions.

I have dowloaded the software onto my new R4 Revolution card. (WinRar).
I have loads of games that i got from a mate that he dowloaded i have put a couple onto the card, but when i put the R4 card into my DSi i cant see it on the menu screen.

Could anyone help as its driving me mad!!!

Hello there, does any one heard about some updated firmware for EZ Flash card? Sorry for being a pest but I want to give up my R4i card and change to EZ Flash card, I want the most updated firmware, but I don't know how to update the firmware by myself, does any one know where can I get the most updated firmware version for the EZ Flash card?

Hi, I just bought 2 R4 ds cards for my children got the software downloaded and games downloaded onto them. My son has a black ds lite and both cards work on his and is able to play all the games. But my daughter has a pink ds lite and the cards will not work on hers, it says no game card in slot.

Any ideas?????????

I downloaded the 1.18 English (system, moonshl, _DS_MENU.DAT and _DS_MSHL.NDS) but the DS screen shows 'couldn't find _DS_MENU.DAT'. I just received the R4 pack (without CD) a few days ago. Help please!!

My sisters R4 ds cart is not saving any games what so ever. There .savv files but when trying to play the games again not previous data is there.

Is this a common problem, has it been set up wrong???

I have recently downloaded the latest firmware but no luck. :(

Hi, does any one know or heard of an R4 card breaking a DS lite ?, I put a new R4 card in my DS with games that I had downloaded before and used on another R4 card , It worked for a while then the Ds turned it self off and I can't get it to charge or turn on, any idea's ?

i have a r4 III i have installed the files from v3.08 kernel as per directions onto my 8gb sd micro card along with about 100 games it boots up fine and plays games ok but only shows 24 games...does anyone know y it does not show all the ganes?? I have formatted the card and tried different versions of the 3.08 kernel from 2 different sites

I just saw the reply now to try what I just did. I had this page up and did not refresh and so only saw it once I edited my own message. Thanks for the reply however. The formatting method is noted. I believe that is what I used.

got one of these r4 formatted the sd card like everyone said copied the new kernal and did everything else and still i carnt get passed the 'loading' phase can anyone help.

So the new Nintendo DSi should be released sometime in the US this year, but there hasn't been any word of the R4 or clone company working on an updated R4 for the DSi. Will they call it the R4i? R4DSi? So far the only flash card available for the DSi is the Acekard 2i.

Could this be the real deal R4 v3? Amazon UK and a few other online retailers are selling the R4DS v3. They're claiming it supports up to 8gb MicroSDHC, better compatibility with the v1.20 kernel and 23% better battery life then the v2 R4. If anyone has one, please confirm that it is a real version 3.

If you have a Chinese R4DS and want to put the English firmware on it, then you'll need to patch the _DS_MENU.DAT file before it'll work. Follow the instructions below to patch your _DS_MENU.DAT file.

1. Download the latest English firmware from www.r4ds.com
2. Download the latest language patcher
